What products do you use I have a little girl with very thick hair and I've tried everything but everything ends up drying 😭😫 her hair out. And thanks for all the different natural hair styles for the little ones seems like now the little girls walk around with grown up hair styles these days in my opinion. Keep them babies looking like beautiful 😍 princesses ❤️.

The hair styles are absolutely beautiful but, braiding is the worst thing you can do to your hair. I’ve been a practicing licensed cosmetologist for over 30 years and I’ve seen firsthand the permanent damage to the scalp, the hair, and the irreversible alopecia caused by hair braiding.

Although these beautiful hairstyles are done by some very talented artists, it is just that, “hairstyling,” and no to be confused with hair care.

Unfortunately, we teach black girls that braiding the hair will make it grow and make it healthy; nothing could be further from the truth.

I often see black teenagers who have never had a single hair cut her entire life and their hair is split or damaged from the roots to the ends. When you try to educate them on the importance of hair cutting to maintain healthy hair, they reject that advice because they’ve been taught that hair cutting is bad.

White, Latina and Asian girls are taught at an early age that hair cutting is an important part of their overall grooming, and a necessary practice in order to maintain healthy hair.

They start getting hair cuts as early as two years old and by the time they become young women they have a gorgeous, healthy head of hair natural hair, while many young black women are resorting to hair weaves because their hair is so damaged.
