Some impressive golf from both sides. Love the dedication and determination on Saturday. Seemed like US thought they had it and maybe lost a little focus towards the end. But also "Hats Off" to Europe, they really made some critical shots down the wire. Any miss would have changed the outcome, it was that close. Just a thought, but if you been having trouble putting…. reading the line/break/ or mind games…. It's not a crime, get a caddie that can help you. Or reach out to Brad Faxon, he seems to have helped Rory.

Americans are so darn good at golf. To take on all of Europe and give us a run for our money. As a European I'm glad Europe won :). I wish we could enter the ladies Soccer world cup as a best of Europe team lol.

Under Pressure. Solheim and other team match play formats put players under highest competitive pressure. And you always identify who’s up for that challenge and who’s not. Pettersen obviously conquered that challenge. Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈 to Europe.

    Well done European ladies!!!!!

I have said for way too many decades that male amateur golfers seriously intent on improvement can do no better than study the basics of top females' play. They hit their balls long, straight, and accurately utilising relatively slow swing speeds. Far too many amateur males lash at the ball instead of working on technique, using slow swing speeds at least during practice.

But I find it interesting that in most every sport (and very noticeable in tennis) ladies' games are far more influenced by their raw emotions than male players. Both sexes have up and downs during every round, but with ladies one very often sees a long period of bad play followed by a long period of inspired exceptional play. So in the extreme one may see a few bogies followed by a few birdies. Never unusual with ladies. Makes for great viewing – expect the unexpected.

An Asian team would probably beat a world team, let alone a team from the US & Europe combined. The tide of world golf dominance certainly change since the introduction of the Solheim Cup nearly 30 years ago. Who would have thought? Most of the players participating in the Cup are mostly ranked outside the top 20 where Asian players dominate.

The Americans had that one and let it slip away. How come nobody wants to play Asia. LOL if we put the European team in the American team together and took the best players we could not beat South Korea. LOL
