Nothing as irrelevant as nail polish is worth the risk of an invalid prayer. It is what it is. I suggest sisters just take care of their nails naturally in general. If your on your time of the month do what you want. But if you are praying, PLEASE avoid. It really isn't worth the risk.

In a completely non offensive way- why is nail polish or plucking your eyebrows a nono for some Islamic girls? I am not educated on this topic and a little confused?

from what i know, nail polish is NOT haram… and concerning wudu validation, you just need to wear your nail polish when you just had wudu and remove it one day after that.. your wudu during this period (with your nail polish on) is 100% valid, you just have to make sure you remove it veeery well after this period of time. Same goes for socks during winter.. you can wudu with your socks on for one day,so you basically dont really wash your feet.. you just pass your hands over them. That s the concept for the hidden surfaces of nail/skin and wudu.

Alsalamu Alakuim. Nice video. Thank You for sharing. I don't belive halal nail polish is really halal and I don't even trust the halaal market. My friend saw that it said come from walmart on children at the halal market.

I guess shaving Hands and legs are harram or sin. We shouldn't do this guys. Btw there are some halal nail polish and they are like you apply it and then you can easily peel it off but I prefer to apply nail polish on those days when you don't have to pray. Don't hate on meee ♡♡

Just like dani does, I used to wear halal nail polish too….
    UNTIL SOMEONE TOLD ME THIS:
Nail polish can only be removed when your body is warm n blood is flowing through ur body. So when you die and people need to do ghusl on you to purify you, it won’t be valid bc the nail polish is on.
Also trying too remove something from the body, like nail polish is very painful for the body as said by the prophet (saw)

I feel like people shouldn’t be finding their way around prohibited things. Just wear nail polish while on your period and then take it off when you need to pray again! Thats what i do. I even wear glue on nails on EID.

I actually tested “halal” nail polishes on paper towels and they really don’t allow water to get through. It’s all just marketing and gimmicks. Trust me, I work in the industry lol and these are not the way to go. Just stick to your strong nail care, no polish necessary. Reserve those for when you’re on your period.
And the alcohol thing… that’s medicinal alcohol. Which is VERY different from the kind that people consume. Medical alcohol is fine to use on your body. It's a common misconception amongst Muslims

For all those saying no such thing you’re just ignorant and peace be upon him but mufti menk is wrong too. Gasp a man can still make mistakes no matter what his qualifications. Especially on women’s issues. The scandal. Yes there are a lot of fake ones but the Tuesday in love one has been proven to be the only wudu friendly polish. It passes the tests 100% not any less. The rest were hit and miss. I tried myself to be sure. Not only that but you can even wear henna polish which is just henna with flower or food dye. Halal polish is real and if you can’t be mature enough to research and stop blind following every old man in a keffiyeh whose never worn it a day in his life then that’s your problem. She never told everyone to wear it so stop acting like she did. If you don’t like it then don’t do it.

Salam! Technically these nail polishes are permeable to water vapour and not water itself so I don’t think they allow valid wudu.

No hate, just a friendly advice to my sisters out there. There is no such thing as breathable nail polish, you can do your research, watch experiments about it (or do it yourself), the water does not penetrate, which makes u ' du not valid …. at the end of the day my sisters, prayer is more important than the look of your hands… do as I do, I go crazy with nail polish in my period time lol. Much 💙 to you all 💖 💖 💖
